Architecture Design Review

As a historic district, regulations applying to Cleveland Park are intended to retain and enhance those properties that contribute to the character of the district and to encourage their adaptation for current use. Before a building permit is granted, the Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) must approve alterations of existing structures and new construction to assure that they are compatible. Our Architectural Review Committee (ARC) assists this process by reviewing homeowners' plans and making recommendations.
