My family moved to Cleveland Park when I was five. I attended Hearst through third grade and National Cathedral School through high school. After college in New York City and marrying a New Yorker, I knew I wasn't suited to raise a family there. We moved to Cleveland Park in 1969 where our three children grew up in two different Macomb Street houses that we lived in for 39 years.
In 2008, as empty nesters, we moved into the new modern house we built on Newark Street. In addition to serving on governing boards of private schools, I have been actively involved in community affairs. I was on the Board of CPCA and was on the first boards of CPHS and The Rosedale Conservancy. My current focus is on promoting affordable housing with Ward 3 Housing Justice.
I look forward to joining the CPHS board again and hope to help increase its membership.
