Jane Treacy
Board Member
Jane and her husband Phil Eagleburger have lived on Macomb Street in Cleveland Park since 1993. They have recently retired from and closed their architectural practice, Treacy & Eagleburger Architects, after 35 years here on Connecticut Avenue in Cleveland Park. A lot of their projects over the years were in the Cleveland Park historic district, as well as other historic districts in DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Illinois. She has been involved with the issues of Cleveland Park in its historical context over the years, first as a member of the CPHS Board back in 2003–09, then as a founding co-chair of the Cleveland Park Business Association. Jane has also been actively involved with the Tuesday Talks series at the Cleveland Park Library, helping foster community engagement. She has always been concerned about retaining the integrity of the neighborhood, allowing it to grow and for businesses to flourish. The CPHS is key to this concept. Jane brings the type of background and longevity in the neighborhood that is always useful to the work of the Cleveland Park Historical Society Board.
