Art Deco Walking Tour of Connecticut Avenue. Another fun and informative walk!
Co-sponsored by the Art Deco Society of Washington (ADWS) and the Cleveland Park Historical Society, the walk on Nov. 11 with over 35 attendees was a great success!
The walk started at Tilden Gardens with an introductory talk by Steve Knight, ADSW president, and included stops at Sedgwick Gardens Apartments (they wouldn't even let us in to see the lobby!), the Broadmoor, Uptown Theater, Post Office, Klingle Valley Bridge, Woodley Park Towers, and ended with a tour of the Kennedy-Warren apartment building.
Stayed tuned for our upcoming walks and other events in 2024!
